Your goals are your ambitions, they are what you seek to achieve in your life - your standards are your daily practices that drive your actions so you can achieve your goals.

Today I discuss how to set your standards as outlined in a book I just finished, "The Power of One More," by Ed Mylett.

1. Understand your “why.”

2. Break down a higher standard into detailed and achievable steps.

3. Be honest with yourself.

4. Get help in areas where you're less capable.

5. Use technological resources to set and maintain your new standards.

6. Elevate your relationship awareness between your goal and your standard.

7. Forget perfection.

8. Don't overthink it.

9. Set standards to please yourself.
