Is it all in your head?
Tuesday Jul 07, 2020
Tuesday Jul 07, 2020
Ep #71 - In this week's episode we discuss my trip through virtual reality and a game that blew my mind and damn near gave me a heart attack.
It stirred this idea in my head that just because my eyes see it, and thus my mind believes it, does not make any of it reality.
Where in your life are you creating a reality that does not really exist? Are you fully in your power, knowing you control the cause in your life? Are you giving up your power, and being in effect, by blaming others, or your environment, or anything other than yourself?

27 feet to happiness: Your stomach’s role in your mood
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
Ep #70 - In this week's episode we discuss the gut, the belly, the enteric nervous system (for you science-y inclined folk out there,) and how that controls 95% of your serotonin levels - which is the determiner in your mood, anxiety, stress, sex drive, and so much more.
I know! I thought all of that was in the brain - yup, science is cool.
I also talk about socializing during the pandemic and social distancing in regards to being around friends, family - love ones. If safety allows it, I highly encourage you get out of the house, get some sun, have some fun, and love those you love. If we've learned anything over these last four months it's that it can all go away overnight.
It is time. It has been time. To live is to shine. Step into the SUN.
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Conflict Resolution
Tuesday Jun 16, 2020
Tuesday Jun 16, 2020
Ep #69 - Do you let how others treat you determine how you treat them? Do you live in a tit-for-tat world? Are you talking to people to learn about them or judge them? Open communication starts with listening to connect instead of listening to respond. Seeing the bigger picture even when we are prone to tunnel vision.
You choose who you are going to be on your journey from sobriety to recovery. Instead of giving your power to another person and treating them like they treat you - perhaps, you treat them kindly regardless, and if they persist in their treatment of you...then you get to choose to release them from your life or keep trying. Either way - I'd rather keep my power then give it up and treat them the way they treat me.
Just hit play, and let’s dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies, bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
It is time. It has been time. To live is to shine. Step into the SUN.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, head the call!

Anxiety & Triggers
Monday Jun 08, 2020
Monday Jun 08, 2020
Ep #68 - Anxiety is a child of Fear, and when we attempt to think about our future and what that will look like, it can send us into a swirl. You are going to experience many events and circumstances you previously would party hard through - and now you get to live in these moments 100% present.
Keys to gaining control of your anxiety, ask yourself: how am I picturing this event, what will my emotional responses be then, what can I learn or think to help me in this situation, and what are the values and standards I want to exude during this event?
Just hit play, and let’s dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies, bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
It is time. It has been time. To live is to shine. Step into the SUN.

Being patient in life and with your addiction recovery, Ep 66
Monday May 18, 2020
Monday May 18, 2020
In this week's episode we dive into the art of patience. Our society is raising us to be all about that instant gratification - but it is that attitude and the lack of impulse control that leads us down paths to a place we do not really want to be, let alone desire to be.
Our new selves realizes that being patient isn't the act of waiting patiently, rather it is the positive attitude and behaviors associated with politely waiting.
After this conversation you will be able to spot where in your life you can raise your level of understanding of and truly encompass the skill of being patient when things aren't going the way you'd prefer.
You have been patient in the past and handled it with grace. Now let's replicate that in every area of your life so you can be grounded even when all hell is breaking loose around you!

Your power is in your responses to your actions and their results, Ep 65
Friday May 15, 2020
Friday May 15, 2020
In this week's episode, we talk about how me smashing my face on the ocean floor we humbling, painful, and led me into quite the depression over my physical state and the pain I was in.
A circumstance last but a short time. An accident can take 1 second to unfold. The aftermath from the circumstance or accident is where the power in ourselves can come to bare. An event might take a few hours from start to finish. An accident take a second to occur and possibly a lifetime to heal from.
There is so much uncertainty in the world. Substantially more than there is of certainty. All this "new normal" BS people keep talking about - what was normal to begin with.
I go off the rails many times and bring it back to the central thesis of this episode - that the power you seek is already inside of you, no matter what the circumstance. The power is always in your hands.
Keep it. Hold on to it. Use it. Because your responses to the aftermath is much more important than you possible realize. Well, at least until you listen to this episode :)

Healthy ways to process grief w/Sue Mandell, Ep #63
Tuesday Apr 28, 2020
Tuesday Apr 28, 2020
In this week's episode we dive into the processes for dealing with grief with master-coach Sue Mandell. We will converse on how grief anchors into our bodies, into our minds - and shows itself in our thoughts, feelings, action, and results.
The one thing we all have in common as humans is that we all have experienced suffering - even the most rich and elite know suffering, all be it, perhaps on a different level than those of us not considered wealthy and elite. I draw this comparison so we can all see one another on the same level and open our hearts to empathy and compassion toward everyone we come in contact.
Sue has over 30-years in sobriety and recovery and she brings that experience to us with love and an intense desire to share with you the things you has seen, experienced, and used on countless clients to help them move through grief, overcome the traumatic time capsules that lie in all of us - and to overcome them so we can live our best life and be our best selves.
