This HUB is the evolution of the podcast. It is a place for us to grow and evolve through learning with one another. So many of you have reached out and asked how you can be more involved in what I talk about and The HUB is my answer to that question.

I want this HUB to be a place for us to meet, learn, discuss, and then go out into the "real world" and collectively create the lives and lifestyles we have always desired for ourselves.
The time is now...it has been now...I have talked this up for so long...it is time to open it up to you for consideration as your next step in taking massive action in your journey From Sobriety to Recovery - I'll see you on the inside!
PS - this is the BETA launch so expect to experience a lot of growth and development in The HUB as the next few months play out :)
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.

Ep #154—The journey From Sobriety to Recovery is vast, expansive, and beautiful. It can be fraught with triggers, cravings, and, of course, trials and tribulations. Simultaneously, it is the most beautiful experience of you as the Phoenix rising out of the ashes. How you decide to experience your personal journey is all on you—I can merely introduce you to more empowering ways to embrace your journey; I can not force you into anything.
The next evolution in the show and what I do is upon us, and I am thrilled to walk you through what I have created for us. What you will hear in this episode is what hundreds of you have asked for, and now I am ready to introduce it to you. What you decide to do with it from here is on you. This creation will utilize the same technology that apps on your phone use "against" you every day, so in a way, I am harnessing the power of habits and brain stimulation for good!
Just hit play, and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies, bringing everyone into the fold. You are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

The Impermanence of Thoughts and Emotions
Thursday Feb 24, 2022
Thursday Feb 24, 2022
Ep #153 - What you think, what you feel...neither is permanent. Your mind is this vast array of thoughts, feelings, memories, inner-self talk, and so much more. I marvel at my ability to push through quite a bit in my pursuit of my All The Way Up Life.
I know you are seeking the best version of yourself and your own mind can be the biggest deterrent of you actually taking action on the things that you want to do in your life - the things that matter to you.
Breathing with intention instead of trancing, doing things as well as you can in the moment, visualizing your thoughts and feelings floating down the river and over the falls, and reflecting of where you have been, what you are doing, and where you are going are jus some of the topics I cover in this week's episode.
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Dare to Dream: Framing and Reframing
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Tuesday Feb 08, 2022
Ep #152 - The way you frame and reframe your "old" self and your "new" self will have dramatic effects on the energy you have toward your addiction recovery. Who you used to be versus who you are now - the two people are not the same even though it is still your face looking back at you in the mirror.
Frames are shortcuts that people use to help make sense of our complex world, they provide meaning through "selective simplification," and help us organize our world into explainable and understandable categories. Many of the generalizations we use: religion, gender, race, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, nationalism, etc. are frames that help us place complex ideas into common, simplified categories and we as a species use these every day.
Frames help us to understand and interpret the world around us and explain that world to others. Morals, ethics, values, and beliefs are some of the frames we use to explain ourselves to others and even ourselves.
The issue that can arise is that when we explain, or label, our world we give meaning to what we can consciously pay attention too and eliminate other aspects of the world around us because it doesn't fit our cognitive bias, or because of the way our mind is programmed to delete, distort, and generalize.
Reframing is how we can take circumstances and events, whether past, present, or future, and choose an alternate perspective so that we can experience a more favorable position that leads us toward effective actions and more desirable outcomes/results.
Sound heady? Nah...after 151 episodes you are so ready for a deep dive into frames - because you are on this journey with us and have been preparing for this shifting of perspectives for quite some time. Now how is that for a positive reframe?
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Pilot part 3: Our journey together continues!
Friday Feb 04, 2022
Friday Feb 04, 2022
Ep #151 - Oh, the places we will go! Oh, the places we have been.
Let us be informed by the past - content in the present - ambitiously discontent for our future.
150 episodes and counting. In this episode I go over how the show has changed and shifted and grown with me, with you - together - as a tribe of recovering individuals who utilize our combined energy to seek our best self, encourage others, and shatter the stigma that has been keeping those in the most need in the shadows for far to long. In aiding those seeking to journey from sobriety to addiction recovery, we must shine the spotlight on the mental health needs all around us.
Everyday is the best day of our lives when we wake up sober!
Let us all keep breaking "bad" habits, creating "good" habits - and supporting one another along the way in the most inclusive way we can, with the resources we have in this moment in our lives - knowing there is further growth ahead of us.
Let us embrace our lives with Gratitude, Humility, and Integrity!
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Sobriety, the Matrix, and how the first 90 days loops
Friday Jan 28, 2022
Friday Jan 28, 2022
Ep #150 - Another milestone podcast. Sobriety is a journey from the trance-like state of living in the bubble society provides for us and sliding into the reality of the life we are actually living.
You signed up for this. You committed yourself to this journey. Fear, anxiety, stress, self-doubt, and so many more undesirable emotions are awaiting you on this journey. BUT, and this is key, BUT - these emotions were waiting for you in addiction too. Sobriety doesn't take these emotions out of your life, it removes your ability to mute yourself, to push away the undesirable emotions. Now, you live in the real world, where emotions are going to come at you like a tsunami wave, and you aren't able to hide behind the Great Wall of intoxication.
This is something to embrace. This new reality is a blessing. Each time you journey into the core of an undesirable emotion, each time you experience the growth through it - these actions habituate you toward an emotional balanced and grounded life.
You were in the Matrix. Now you are in the Nebuchadnezzar and it is time to master the life skills that will strategically become your arsenal of defense, strength, resiliency, discipline, fortitude, and tenacity.
It is time. It has been time. To live is to shine. Step into the sun!
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Sobriety, the benefits, and what is next
Saturday Jan 08, 2022
Saturday Jan 08, 2022
Ep #148 - When we take on any endeavor in life, is it the act of taking something on or the benefit of introducing this new thing into our life that is what we are really after? Sobriety itself is just the act of no longer getting intoxicated or imbibing or doing something that has become impulsive and has been seducing our lives down the dark slide for a long time.
What we are really after are the benefits of getting sober. The benefits of no drinking or doing drugs or mass eating or gambling, etc.
These benefits are what we are seeking and that is what I have been talking about for the last month - how to set goals and achieve them so you can attain these benefits you hear others talking about.
Sometimes what's next is what you have already been doing and sometimes its something brand new completely - and you will only know which fork in the road to take when you reach the fork through action!
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

New Year: New You or Same You?
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Ep #147 - The New Year is upon us. I've been talking about this since December 1st and it is here. We have reached the half way point of our baton passing cycle and it is time to really buckle up and get the momentum of 2022 going. There are infinite ways to achieve sobriety and journey into addiction recovery - I have made that clear since episode one.
How are you seeking your highest self? How are you solidifying your changes into unconsciously habituated behaviors? How have you been embracing the topics on this show and integrating them into your life?
Take time this weekend to really love yourself for being in this community and for seeking a better way of life for yourself. All to often people don't take inventory of their accomplishments and I think it time we do this as a collective.
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.

Patience and Impulse Control
Wednesday Dec 29, 2021
Wednesday Dec 29, 2021
Ep #146 - Patience is not the act of waiting, it is the attitude you have while you are waiting. As addicts we lacked patience in many aspects of our lives. Now, as we journey from sober curious, and from sobriety to recovery - we want to be extremely mindful of how we are being patient or impatient in our life.
As we encourage ourselves to add in new, more desirable habits, being mindful of over habit stacking is something to pay attention toward each day. Shooting ourselves out of a cannon, and expecting ourselves to keep up that level of energy, doesn't leave a whole lot of space for us to expand. It's the tortoise and the hare fable playing out in our very own lives.
When we lack impulse control and seek to cannon fire ourselves into new ways of behaving we open the door for us to not keep our promises to ourselves, as the fiery excitement wanes, because we can often, misguidedly, believe that it was that excitement that created the desire to change and not the internal flame of our divine essence.
I know this description might be sounding a bit heady. Feel me on this, how you picture yourself accomplishing goals in your life is not generally how they are actually accomplished.
Let's use our addictive nature for good instead of evil and slowly integrate new habits and behaviors and down the road we will look back and be amazed at our progress - this I can promise because I have been doing it for years with myself, clients, and attendees and have seen the results for myself time and time again
All that you seek is on the other side of risk and that risk today is choosing patience over speed. Impulse control is a real thing and we're going to get even deeper into than we have did in episode #76.
Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now.
Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you.
