Secondary gain - the value in having the problem over the solution! Ep #96

When there is more value in having the problem than the solution! Isn't that a conundrum to find ourselves in? For many of us, once we hear about secondary gain a flood of memories of how it has kept us standing still, stuck in our old ways, come rushing to the forefront of our memories.
This is like four episodes in one because I cover so much, and am a bit all over the place at times - but I like to think I tighten it up at the end :)
I'll cover for your listening pleasure...why you would want to go back? What is the psychological hold substances have over you? How you have control over your thoughts - if nothing else this year, you have that. You are not your circumstances. You are an accumulation of your thoughts, feelings, actions, beliefs, values - and all that adds up to your general thoughts about who you are.
Oh boy, talk about a jam packed hour. And I recorded the whole thing as an IG Live so go check that out. It's titled, "episode 96 - secondary gain."
