Ep #181 - Give yourself permission to: sleep, rest, be sick, take a day off, get up, bust your ass, be healthy, work an extra day...and on and on and on.
Last week I was very ill. Laid in bed for 3 out of 4 days. It was very weird for me to be laying in bed at noon, and still at 2, and still at 5 - and to do it without feeling GUILT, or SHAME, or beating myself up.
Where in your life are you ready to give yourself permission to do something? Maybe you lay about more than you want to be...give yourself permission to get up and do something outside your comfort zone.
When do you run yourself ragged? Give yourself permission for a self care day!
Giving yourself permission will open you up to the positive feelings you want from the action. Whereas you might feel guilt or talk smack to yourself, the permission creates an agreement with yourself that what you are doing is exactly what you want to be doing.
The specificity brings in actionable steps to take in order to relax or amp up the energy.
I specifically do you want to relax? I specifically do you want to rest from an illness? I specifically do you want to work harder? I specifically do you want to be healthier?
I specifically do you want to ______________.
In the specificity is the plan - now get to action on it!
